Fundraiging Update

From academics, to intramurals, to student government, to philanthropy, the last few years have been very successful for Texas Gamma. We are excited about the opportunity to create a chapter room in Worth Hills that reflects that success.

Building a chapter room that truly reflects what Texas Gamma is about takes a significant commitment to fundraising from our members and alumni. Our undergrads have launched a telephone campaign to contact alumni, and alums are calling amongst themselves. We have sent a fundraising letter to the parents of every undergrad, and several undergrads have stepped up to make contributions themselves.

So far, we stand at nearly $29,000 collected from the following contributors.

We truly thank all of these contributors and they will be recognized on a plaque to hang in the new chapter room.

We are off to a successful start to fundraising, but we are still in need of much more to continue to pay for wood flooring, wall covering, lighting, the conference/study room, and more. For those interested, a portion of the funds we need to raise (that which is earmarked for the study room area) can be tax deductible.

Donations can be made in one of the following two ways:

  1. If you do not need the tax deduction, we would appreciate you making a non-tax deductible donation. These can be sent in the form of a check made out to Sigma Phi Epsilon and sent to:
James Dearman (Alumni Volunteer Corporation Treasurer)
    3450 Riverpark Drive
    Apt. 821A
    Fort Worth, TX 76116
  2. If a tax deduction is vital to your gift, you can make your donation through the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation. This can be done using a credit card on the Foundation website: http://www.sigepfoundation.org/. You can also send a contribution in the mail to:
    Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation
    P.O. Box 1901
    Richmond, VA 23218

Thank you for your support. Texas Gamma could not have enjoy its recent or future successes without you.
